Khagool hail from South Wales... What is it about Wales?.. They seem to churn out a disproportionately large amount of cool sucessful bands compared to suposedly cool music-biz places like London.

We caught Khagool live doing a last-minute fill-in gig in London at The Pleasure Unit in Bethnal Green and they really are superb!!

A six piece band featuring bass, 2 guitars, drums, keys, synth & a mad shaman percussionist!... Halfway thru the set, the shaman appears, masked, mad, and shaking his totem stick & rattle!....

Great stuff as the music sears thru the venue lifting and floating you off to a cool festival vibe, the shaman cavorts with the audience... brilliant!

Khagool's music is textbook quality festival rave indie servings. This band is easily up there with the best of the classics we all know from the festie scene in this genre... it's super-furry, it's ozricly tentacular, it's happy, and aint aint monday...

Quality stuff, excellent music, honed to a razor knife edge but without a scrap of pretention, they just make it look damned so easy.

Khagool, they should be up there as a household name in our opinion. Do your best to go along and catch this band live. The blend of winding synth, soaring vocals and cascading guitars oozes into your brain to the thunder of a super-tight drum & percussion section... See them!... You will not be dissapointed!
