Another night at Inn on the Green, and The Violets debut their new female drummer 'Cachito' from Spain... Not a good sound from the venue (they really need to sort it out), but a good trashy set from the band despite (apparently) just a couple of rehearsals with the new drummer prior to the gig.
Once they get the new line up bedded in properly it looks like The Violets are going to seriously raise their game, Cachito batters those drums to fuck & we noticed some arrangement changes for a few of the songs which really work great!.. The band like many has been plagued by inability to find a full time drummer that fits over the last year and a half, but it seems like they got it now, expect good things in the future!...
