any advice on playing out live. thats all i'm
looking for. Mixer, equipment
recommendations. We are considering a
synth and guitar duo operation, one man on
synth and drums other one vocals and guitar.
any advice would be appreciated.

Well, then you need a PC with a decent sound card. If you only have one sound sourdce, you won't need a mixer.
