I mean shiiiit. you sound way more slammin than I could ever hope to sound, but you dont finish hardly any of em!

hehe...hows workin with Jason? Wish it was as easy as "come up here, dave" but it aint, sadly.

you guys look out. soon as I get set up again youre all fucked on the breaks tip. Did you get the sounds for darkness yet?

PLEASE lose that 909 snare. oh, ok. its just filler. hey this aint so bad! damn!!!! fuck you guys man. fuck off and eat shit and all that fucking crap.

sounds pretty tight too. mix is solid already. but are you GOING TO FUCKING FINISH IT??!?!?! Im gonna have to talk shit to Jason too...

fuck you guys, all havin fun up there

I think this one needs some influx input

Most of the drum sounds are from dancetech drumsample packs... so thanks to Kilo...

Its all reason babeee :P ... I love that program... I just started using it with cubase... But I still want hardware... One day...
Milking the track is where i suck the most... plus Jason is a perfectionist son of a bitch

OH... I just uploaded another track called "AKUMA"
you should definetely listen to it... Its the one i am putting most of my effort too... Give me couple ideas on "miliking it"
Thats the one i have been working on last nite... If you are dorky enuff you would know why its called Akuma and the samples...

we are going to use the sampler after jason gets a scsi thingy...

so check out Akuma...

thats fuNNy influx

breakerbox- SORT IT OUT! you have some cool sounds in there, especially "whatever" and "distorted", but a bunch of snippets i can go thru in 5 minutes is not something i´d call finished tracks. hell, i wouldnt call them tracks at all.

so yeah, some good stuff, but do get it finished mate!

shall we have a "snippet" forum maybe? i have an LP of those ready

Thanks for the feedback guys/gals...
Well... that built up in smile vs breaker is used but it sounded good at that time, we will probably go back and rework on that part... Jason is working on the smile track, he already added another part that i haven't heard...
Oh... none of the tracks are finished and i didnt call them finished or finnish..!!! These are not US or Finnish breaks, these are straight up MAD TURK BREAKS yo... (i havent been to turkey in last 2 years, i dont think they even have a breaks scene...)

Thanks, people...

Must-a-been the Finnish girls I was thinking about from days of past ;)

If the full track come be wrought of the same quality of the snippet, Distinctive will have to hold a place for you.

I've got that feeling from ya...ya, u know, the feeling that with producers like you, I need to sell my sh|t. Congrats

I`m turning into influx - its encoded too high dammit. Least they`re short tho so it only has to rebuffer twice .....nice stuff indeedy.

Have you actually tried reason tho influx? Its not like most computer based stuff at all, its fun and easy and sounds damn good. Even this piece of shit (p2-333) refuses to stall or glitch or anything no matter how much crap I load up onto it, definately a good example of tight coding.

Seriously, it makes a lot of the HW look more than a little sad. Not that I`ll be selling up that is, but still.

Reason makes ME look a little sad. i just realised that i have about 3000gbp worth of gear (most of you probably much much more) which can be easily beaten by reasons preset synth and drum sounds. makes me really sad. tell me i´m wrong.

you're not wrong.... amazing s/w for a studio basis, but I prefer to use it as a 'rack of s/w synths & drums etc', with VST sequencing it all. but the drums and basic synth & sampler etc are wickedly good... battery also, another great s/w for thrashing most drum-boxes.

I use the es-1 for my music ensemble class, but thats about it...
I have lots of beats on it too, but i need to sample more drums, and i am too lazy...
I might sell it end of this year, spent the money on a rackmount 12 bit sampler like emu emax or somethin... And speakers... why the are those things so expensive...
"some little raver with a candy necklace and his mouth full of metal that AINT fillings "

Litte raver ? i hate you... i hate ravers...
I look anything but a raver with glowing shit and pants that are bigger then my whole body... hate..hate...

didnt deny the metal mouth comment tho

that ES1 man..just score a smart media card! so easy to load samples. then record the beats and throw them in your favorite toy, reason!!!!

did you get the sounds for darkness yet? By any chance did you hear the "pro" mix? what do you think? Smile likes mine better...

I heard the pro mix... I like the bass on the original mix better, but the drums on this one ing rock! There is not enough bass presence... And dude.. where is the intro? you need to put at least 4 bars of dry drums or somethin...put the ending to the begining?

The song overall rocks...makes me jealous
I am at jasons house, just got the sample cd... I am going to work on it this week, well see if I can remix it, since i dont have previous remix experience.
I have a smart media card, but i want to get a reader so i can dump the samples from the pc to the card...

talking about fillings, oone of my fillings fell/broken in pieces or somethin. it hurts like a bitch.

Later,
Eddie

Hey I just updated the AKUMA... still not finished... we added couple more parts... check out the delayed vocals towards the end... check it out influx... oh and jason says you should not be pissed coz the akuma is not finished... since you are not working on new tracks... I just copied the samples of darkness to zip, i probably start working on it tomorrow... Funfunfun...
Jason wants to use your original mix for darkness... I havent heard your mix since Ki has it, but I can still tell the bass is missing compared to the one you posted on here...

DUDE!!! Eddie!!! I thought I had listened to the new one..

well, as far as the hardness scale goes you are the fukkin man! jesus!

all still reason? the chorus on that stab is DOPE...and then at the end the breakdown with the new bass. feck

needs some continuity..and some higher energy sounds at the top I think...but...wow man. maybe I should get some piercings

may be you should...
I uploaded the alomst finished full length track... Its lower quality since they cant be bigger then 1500k... changing to different part was jasons idea...he did work on couple parts, or sat around while I was working ,its really cool to work with him...so he has credit in this one... I listened to darkness pro mix again... it sounds good accept the bass cause there isnt any base presence, but dude getting the track mastered or mastering it your self makes it sound so good, i burnt the pro mix and finished akuma track on the same disk... my levels touch 0 db, but your mix is still a lot louder/fuller throughout the whole track...bugs me when i am listening to akuma, still havent heard your original mix in high quality...
there is no chorus on the stabs, the sample is an octave down from what it was, there is reverb and delay.... adding more parts is hard for me... once i am done, i am done, i dont like getting back to what i did... but you are right needs another sparky sounds on top at the end... I might work on the big boomy bass line, its really simple right now...
So you dont have your gear set up? I think akuma is almost a release quality track... of course thats me saying that... but when youget your stuff working again, you should try to remix it or somethin... I started mixing darkness... right now it sounds like shit... but i am going to get into it more...
What about moving to seattle? anything figured out yet?
