hi...
i've got a soundblaster awe32 and i want to create some dance
tracks.... is it totally hopeless or can a nice software package
help me?
also,i come from israel and you can't get all the fancy synths and
modules here... so low end advice would be really appriciated...

Yep!
You can put in controllers in the event list of
your sequencer to access NRPN's then draw in nice
frequency cutoff curves!
or assign a mod wheel to cutoff frequency!
(I was dead impressed when i discovered this)
I forget the controller numbers now
but mail me and I'll let you know!

Yup, you can use it.....grab the drum samples from the "sampling" section, and use those to reinforce the built in kits.....I believe you can expand an AWE32 to 8 mb sample ram.....and there are lots of soundfonts around on the www.
