"My People" (by The Presets) - SOULARFLAIR version
This is my take on "My People", by
The Presets, an Australian dance act -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmiGmyJrdXc The original is a slamming dance track, but I always wanted to make a heavier version of it.
So here it is with heavy guitars (an Agile 30" extended scale, tuned to
low F, through an Axe-Fx Ultra, to be precise). Plus other assorted synths and stuff. I did actually ask a couple of pro vocalists to help me out with the vox but none came to the party, so I had to do them myself.
Vocals are not my strong point
I got permission from the band's management to do this cover version, given I re-recorded it and will never release it for any commercial gain.
