Hi, well the bass output is fairly decent, however they are fairly well isolated from the floor, being mounted on neoprene pads, very rigid stands and paving stones under those. So you would have to be above 90 dB SPL before the floor shakes. Generally I monitor at around 80-85dB SPL for mastering work.
The real beauty is the bass output at lower volumes (balance relative to rest of spectrum), as that remains fairly similar to that when the level is increased.
The Dynaudio are also goodat sounding the same as the volume goes up and in my opinion is the sign of a good speaker.
Of course the equal loudness contours come into play with ear vs level response but the PMC IB1's almost counter that at low levels and keep a decent bottom end presence even at 50dB SPL.
