bah. Last Wednesday I had an accident.

There was an old couple in a Toyota Yaris driving slow, as old people do. Behind them a twat in a ford escort van. Behind him theres Me. On a dead straight bit of road, with no oncoming traffic, perfectly legally I indicate and overtake... when I'm level with the van BAM! the moron pulls out to overtake and goes straight into my side, then ploughs into the back of the Toyota Yaris with the olds in.

When we all stop he then threatens to do various violent things to me.

Now its looking increasingly likely that the fucker isnt insured as Admiral insurance cant fucking trace him on the national insurance database.

Nice.

So, I'm unable to claim for my uninsured losses (loss of earnings, car hire cost..etc).

Still, on the plus side. I have actually got quite severe whiplash, and although I'm still able to do my job, I've been told by the solicitors that if I've got a valid personal injury claim. Insured or not, I'll get a fecking pay out one way or the other.

what a c*nt tho. fucking white van man c*nt.

I dunno. Trying to get anything remotely intuitive out of Admiral Insurance claims staff is like getting blood out of a stone.

They reckon this could be caused because he's changing his address ! Bullcrap. More like he's uninsured.

I raised a case with the cops too. So I may follow that up today, see if any of them are doing anything with it. Most probably not. I imagine they are sitting on it.

anyways, doesnt matter if the owner address is changing, the old owner will be on the DVLA database until the new one is logged

of course the 'database' probably has gone missing, lol

heh, more like with a russian credit card gang but hey... if i worked for the NHS or DVLA on 12k a year and i was approched and offered 20k or whatever to deliver a few disks... it'd be tempting!

anyways.. heard the latest? isp's are going to record and log ALL your web activity so the government can access it... if required.... and of course it'll be 3rd party private companies doing it all.

it almost makes you beleive films like '7/7 ripple effect', 'Mind the gap', 'ludicrous diversion' etc
