I have a Fender Strat, and for some reason the 2nd position in the 5 way switch has always sounded completely weak. I bought a DiMarzio FS-1 pickup and replaced the one at the bridge position and now both 2 and 4 are weak. Although 1,3 and 5 are all sounding awesome. What's the deal, is there some alternate way to wire, has it been wired wrong for 23 years(it's been that long since I had the hot rails installed)? Or is that just the way it is?
