I'm looking for small condensor mics for overhead micing onstage, to complement 3 boundary mics at front of apron: I also want to us them for micing my Bodhran (about the same sound as a Tom, but generally quieter).
Are the RV85's good for this application? They look very similar to AudioTechnica PRO45's.
