I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

This LINK has many documentaries that are in a similar vein to the film influx mentioned.Not all the links work but I recommend any of the Adam Curtis series especially "The power of Nightmares" and "The Mayfair Set"

The Century of the Self is good too it's near the middle of the page you'll need Bit Torrent to download though.
