RE: Boss_SP-303
well why would they?... the 303's sequencer is being clocked, that's all (by the sound of it) i dont know the 303 at all but i assume it has some sort of sequencer onboard to trigger the samples- when you want them to play along a linear length of time/beats/bars
you'd have to use whatever roland included for pitching the speeding them up/down, time stretching them longer/shorter to change the loops' length to fit the new tempo - that's normal for all samplers i can think of unless some wizzo top-end sampler out now can 'auto' timestretch loops to a clock tempo
anyways, when working with samplers, you need to get the tempo right to start with cos it's a royal pain to change tempo of the song and then have to change all loops to fit the new tempo
??

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
