We need more details man. There are plenty of great options in your range, but it's hard to specify without knowing what it will be used for.

Where are you? - if in europe there's two makes you can checkout, t-bone from thomann & red5audio - both doing cheap but VERY good large diaphragm mic's from 40 quid to 200 quid for a valve one

in USA, Studioprojects of course

Then all the usual non cheap-chinese suspects - also Behringer do one for just under 200 which has switchable polarity (will do figure of 8) and roll off

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

hmmm depends what you spend on the Mic of course - Joe Meek is a good call for a cheapie or behringer perhaps?
