HeLo...

I can't make my E-mu ESi-32 Sampler work with Windows98.

I use Adaptec 2940 SCSI Card. But Sampler is never found when I enter Windows98. Though in SCSI Bios Sampler is present on ID5 as I have set it in SCSI Settings. I also have Avoid SCSI Host on ID 7. as I understant it is needed for connection of Two Master Devices.

What should I do in Windows98 to make ESi-32 work there?

What software are you using to find the esi? Is it capable of seeing the esi? Do you have the latest os for the esi? Are there other devices in your scsi chain? Do you have a terminator?

When I used to use scsi with samplers a lot, 9 out of every 10 problems had to do with termination issues, lack of a terminator, broken terminator etc.
