1st thread I've started in ages and it's about this song I
keep hearing...

It's a pretty mainstream sounding party jam w/ a
chorus made up of what sounds like old sugar hill
records samples (horns), maybe a 'ring my bell' sample
as well. and then the verse is this white guy saying
somehting like 'dont stop/dont stop the beat/dont
stop/etc.'

You guys know what I'm talking about?? I keep hearing
it on weird radio stations so maybe it's not so well
known but it sounds like a hit-with-the-hipsters type
of track...I just want to know who it is so I can feel
cool.

The white guy during the chorus sounds like one of
these new white mc's, ie, mc paul barman, etc.

This shit is probably #1 in Denmark and none of you
fools knows what I'm talking about, arrrrggh!

'eveybody.....' it's that song right? DOn't stop, don't stop the beat....tududuu duuuu...everybody...The video-clip is a nice one too..80's style computer animation....but the name of the song? It eludes me, but i'll try and remember the next time it's on TMF (dutch local MTV clone)

its got a good b-line on it, with a cool slide. Thats what caught my attention. Apart from the squirrel in the video that is.. erm.
