i have an emu esi4ooo sampler,i want 2 know if i bought a scsi internal cdrom and connected it 2 my adaptec 2940 ultra could i read sample cd 2 my sampler,or do i need 2 get an external cdrom????

yeah you can do that. I used to read Kurzweil CD's with my computer's SCSI CD burner.

second that motion. did it plenty of times. Yammy 8424 was internal on a 2940UW. worked fine
