currently looking for a new drum-source and a synth, thought I might nail two birds with one fist, love analouge drums and most VA´s have drums on em now,. I´ve tested a nord mod and NL2 and they´ve got some bassy and puncy kicks but they fall shy on snares (like all va´s) and hihats, the nova does some great hihats and has some puncy kicks,..not looking to spend to much and I hate menus so no virus here,.. any sugestions?

That's too bad you're not into the Virus, 'cause I think it rocks the Nord for drums, honestly - it's tighter sounding. Plus, you're going to need to forget those presets and get in there and dig. Ring mod and tunable noise are essential. The Nord Modular would probably make a great drum synth, as you can configure the architecture the way you want.
