Greetings,
I've suddenly got the urge to put down some disco/funk-flavoured tracks. Does anyone know where I can find some inexpensive horn (esp trumpet) multisamples? I'm using Gigasampler, but at this time I can't blow 80 quid on a Phantom Horns CD.
Also, I'm not English, but I figured that using the term "quid" and the british spelling of "flavour" would give me some credibility.

Thanks.

nothing for it mate you're going to have to bite the bullet & buy a CD unless you can find a brass/horns CD s/hand.

Hmmm- didn't think about Soundfonts- that would be a reasonable budget solution. I'll check that out. Eventually I'll have to put out for a sample CD, I know...

Thanks!

I'm on the lookout for good R&B (old, old skool) horns. I thought Brass Super Section seemed to have the best multisamples, whereas there seems to be a lot of phrase-based CD's around which I'm not too interested in. Difficult to judge a demo out of context though.

Prosamples have some £30 CD's derived from Phantom and Killer.

I'm currently using E-mu samples which are sort of OK.

Regards

M
