saturn is superb, graphics are so arcade like, really crisp colours sega has. Sonic2 on saturn is brilliant but almost impossible to play  

I still reckon DK on snes is the best game ever tho.

the snes was the best game system ever. fuck graphics and sound, that puppy was all about CONTROL. I've never played games that control as well since. Is it just me? I feel disconnected from most games nowadays (especially 3D ones).

the saturn was an arcade machine k, pretty
much a sega s-tv shoved into a box. Pure
class. I reckon my next machine will be a neo
geo arcade cabinet, 2D goodness (:

most games never make it here at all
breakerbox, we just count ourselves lucky if
we get them at all. I do buy imports and that,
but at $75-80 a pop it can be a bit painful.

A friend of mine built a cabinet of his own (i designed it for him) with a TV screen, arcade butten and 2 joytsick bolted on...and a PC built in that runs MAME....great fun...he even constructed a slot for coins which works.

It's a shame the saturn never made it, I wrote a paper about that machine once for a marketing class and compared SEGA to Sony and Nintendo.
