I don't think that they're coming out with the new OS anytime soon. I've been waiting for it for a while now

So what they really meant to say is:

"Hey, this is a load of BS that we'll feed you so you'll get off our backs about the new OS while we make a bigger, better synth and leave the one your have in the dark. It's not worth our time and money to help out what we already f**ked up. When we do come out with the new OS software we're going to make you all feel as if it were something really special which in truth, is shit and has more bugs than a Mississippi BBQ by the swamp (buzzzzz). Further more, since the OS software is free we're going to make you look like a total idiot when you complain about how many freakin' bugs there really are in this *FREE* software upgrade. as a former micro owner and currentl NL3 owner, i can say i have never had problems with their software at all... its not buggy normally.

this new OS is not a 'bug fix' like for pcs, its new modules etc and they won't release it until its done.

they are way better than most companies...

ive heard they are working on a new Modular 2 that will come out soon (ive heard this sporadically for about almost two years now) and that the new OS4 for modular will come out at the same time as the new modular hardware, and will contain some of the new features (what they can fit in the code, basically) from the new box.
