I am new to Sound Diver and I can't seem to get my copy of Sound Diver Virus to work. It just doesn't seem to want to find my Virus C. Whenever I start the prgram it begins to scan for a Virus A on MT4 Out 0(all), then either it doesn't find anything or it freezes. The Virus is on MT4 Out 2. I have tried selecting manual setup, but this doesn't help and I have installed the update so that the Virus C definitions are installed. What is going on?

Regards.

Steve.

Sounddiver is bloody useless. Well, nearly. It never seems to be very reliable, sometimes it sees my p2k, sometimes not. No idea what i do to get it working, I just use it to back up the patches. I think it works worst with my usb midiman2x2, maybe a bit better with the sb16 midi, haven't tried it with my terratec yet.

Maybe try disabling every midi port except the ones connected to the virus. *shot in the dark*

It doesn't work very well with logic either and i guess now it never will.

Bah humbug.

Aha! I have now got Sound Diver to work. I just un-checked the "Check device connections a startup" and the configured the Virus C communication manually, and hey presto!

Regards.
