yeah, I wish there was an easier way to play out. That's what you get not playing a 'real' instrument.. electronic music rule but how can you perform it live?

Of course it's easy to do filter sweeps but it takes no skill to turn that filthy knob a bit.. do you guys know the Latronic Notron stepsequencer? It's very good for live electronic music.. actually, live.. you start sequencing live and stuff while you tweak your other stuff.. hmm, it's supposed to be very inspirational.

yeah, it's very expensive. It must be very nice to do live improvised stuff with.. or just add improvised stuff to your proper tracks.
