well, here it is my fellow DT'ers. There is a
new sound in my profile. Check out: 'iodied'.
Pretty much a breaks track with guitar - 140
bpm. Definitley needs a crazy female vocal -
CJ Bolland vocals? Anyhow, I might have the
hook up for a set here in Palm Beach, FL.
Finally I can throw shit live. Got about 30
minutes of decent music (including this one).
can't wait...

So, check out the track, tell me what you think.
On my scale, I rate it 6 out of 10.

Can't comment on mix (lappy int. speakers) but I like what I'm listening to. cool synth from 2:00 on- clap seems out there but again, crappy speakers... nice job Panama.

pretty cool. a bit wimpy sounding

the one thing...the bassline...dah dah dah DAH that DAH makes it sound too happy (the last note in the progression)

I would actually have it be the same note as the one before...or something.

cool sounds tho...seems mixed ok...

Actually the set would be about 45 min to an hour. I only have about 30 minutes of decent music. But, if it does come through, I'll shit my pants. Big local club.

Funny that you mention that it's happy sounding cuse most of the notes are dissonant. ie: E to E flat - G to A to B flat. then repeated. weird eh?

actually it goes: E to E flat - G - A flat to A.

I did try out yer idea. Seems like it sounds more like a revolving bassline, rather than one that goes and ends. cool.

heh. naming notes and shit

a REAL musician unlike me

it was just the progression of the notes that sounded too happy. the bouncy part at the end? or...vary it maybe? Have one end note stay at the same as the beginning, the next go down, then up? dunno
