OK, I got the mp3's to my buddy. Yeah, it'll probably be a pretty enormous download, but it's the set, and I don't believe there were any edits to it. It's not perfect by any means, but it was fun to play. It was part of a set that my friend Stalker and I played in a small, but hip bar in Nantes, France. Kind of an early evening chillout electro/breakbeat set, with some wierdness thrown in for good measure. Hope it's up soon, and that you folks enjoy it if you hve the time to DL it.

Milan....why yes it is some old Felix...That track (the Light) is by far one of his best, as well as Zeka's Solar Device! and it's in total contrast to the junk he's making now. Bad synth/retro pop. Ohh my ears!

Dissonance represent!!! Also liked the mix set. Well, it's a big DL, but it's all live. BTW, for folks anywhere near MA, I'm doing a gig with my buddy Obis Cygma at Asylum. It's true that with the Ape looking over my shoulder, it will be hard to venture off too far in the wrong direction. All of that is without the monkey’s oversight. So now that he's state side, things should start sounding more full and less like the skeletal remains of a track.

ok dissonance, I upgraded you to also be a DEEJAY-USER - so you can now add longer lo-fi mixset files (6mb max filesize) - you'll see the new entries in your admin list - i just added it incase you wanted to use it.

We'll see. Rather than just quick burns for sale, I'd like to see about doing a proper run, with some edits in place, and maybe some video as well, to round out a nice multi-media disc. If folks are going to pay for it, I'd like to offer the quality that their money deserves, and that I feel I can deliver, because I know I can do better than what's there now. In the meantime, enjoy. Glad you're diggin it, especially the live versions of studio trax. It's something kinda new for me, and I usually try to keep both completely separate, but it seemed like a fun thing to try so...happy listening and hope that it inspires. I'll look into the secodn half and see what the story is. There are definately some moments of chaos and cacaphony, but that's what happens with a live improv jam. ;)

thanks for setting that up, but there is no way that I'm going to be able to widdle down a 65Mb mix set to 6 Mb. I mean even if I make it as low-fi as possible, I can't imagine that'll get much smaller than 25Mb.

And I'll look into the second half of Ape's live set. We'll see if we can't get that straightened out in the next hour or two. Sorry for the pause on this, I was watching some international football in person. The US National team versus Holland at Foxboro.

As a matter of fact I did! If the Ape hadn't put it out I would've been just fine. But that track always gets me. So when I give it a good listen it sets me on crooked mode for a hot second, and normal function returns in a day or two. Sometimes 12 hours if I've had my vitamins.

what's wrong with giving people money for their music? i've been doing that since the tender age of 10 ! Have i missed something ? I'd rather give it directly to the artist instead of a "major" label, i tought that was the whole idea. you sell it for cheap but you rack in all of the profit.
