jus' popping up a word on some stuff i picked up for mail order folks.. the axman mic stand (boom, tri-) is way better than the axman a-frame, which i don't suggest - weak plastic.

akg k-55 phones are decent for vocal takes.. cable's long and not too thin, cups fit entirely over my ears, tops on comfyness. i don't listen/monitor thru phones so no comment on the sound quality.

just putting this up because i spent a good 1/2 hour searching + deliberating over the mic stand piccies for more expensive brands :p

useful info: musician's friend has 10' horizon instrument cable (the thicker one) in an assortment of bright colours for $6 a piece.

cheers, me 'vocal booth' (corner) is gonna be done week after next, so oil b lookin for comfy phones. was considering getting a new stand, beyer-dynamic, coz i've used them live for years and they just don't budge. but pricey. axman sounds like a good cheesy name too.

by the way... I added lots of headphones to the Dt listings (STUDIOWARE section) - about 200 pairs   chuckle

I use two AKG sets... cant remember the code now... 241?... very good.. I rate AKG cans.

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!
