There's a zillion of them. Haven't looked at one in a while so I can't really recommend one. Unless you play guitar, stay away from the chord books for guitar players I'd say. That'll eliminate 2/3s of the books to choose from. And you won't really miss those 3 chords anyway :P

But what are you looking to do or looking for with a chord book? I don't know what your base of knowledge is in this sector, but chords and notes all make sense once you get the logic of it so a book with chords and some explanation of theory isn't a bad idea. It's not rocket science. Don't mean to be putting ideas in your head though. A chord book by itself is fun though. Kind of like going through patches on a synth until you find something close to what you like and then playing with it from there.

what about the famous book called something like: 'the guitar case chord book'

it's a long vertical book about 4" wide & 12" long that's designed to fit in the neck part of your guitar case... good book.

Is it ok to nab that book then bedwyr? As long as its not a subtle ploy on your behalf to get into my pants, I`ll take you up on that ;)

"The Guitar Handbook" by Ralph Denyer is the best guitar book I ever read it has an 800 chord, chord dictionary at the back of it with chords in every key plus inversions and when you get bored with that you can use it as a course that takes you from total beginner to advanced with a bit of guitar history and electronics thrown in.

I'll second that. Best book on theory or technique for the instrument I've come across, and the theory part translates to other instruments well.
