i just discovered the demo sequences on my uQ! great for previewing sounds. i´ve now spent couple of hours listening only to Q sounds and twiddling the mod wheel here an there when it gets monotous. MAD sounds mon! who needs records when presets sound as good as this

Actually I'm enjoying exploring how they made some of these sound-effecty ones. But whenever I come to one that isn't going to teach me anything I can use, randomize baby.

I'm finding more and more that I use the randomize command to find sounds that I don't want to make, then init the instrument and going after the sound that I really wanted in the first place. Wassup with that?

I never use the randomizer but start from scratch and twiddle for several hours to reach the same result ;-)
