I just recently purchased a behringer mixer and the headphone jack does not seem to work.

Before I call behringer and ask for warranty work. I wanted to make sure that maybe mixers don't need any sort of proffessional headphone?

I really doubt it... but wanted to check with someone who may know first.

do you mean a special sort of headphone to make em work?

no.

are you sure you have the mix assigned to the phones? some mixers you have to do that. Is the volume up on the mixer? on the phone jack?

have you read the manual through? If not, go do so. You might have missed something.

check for a 'pfl' button or something....

chances are good the mixer is fine.
