no im not flogging kit.

saw an advert for connecting an ide drive to the scsi buss talk about saving money.

I have been looking at the cost of scsi hard drives its only for storing sounds for my A 5000
It doesnt have to be ultra fast it just needs to save files and thats it.


so when i saw this i was intrigued.
havnt actually bought one yet have got to wait till the end of the month for my paycheque but as soon as that arrives i shall go and buy one.

will post a result so look out here in early feb for details.

if any one has used this converter please let me know............

I just picked up a 4.5GB IBM SCSI drive on E-bay for $26 including shipping.. Is that cheap enough ;)

WYH R U CONNECTING THE HDD VIA SCSI WHEN THE A5000 HAS IDE, IF U JUST WANT IT FOR STORAGE WHATS THE POINT

YES I KNOW YOU CAN USE IDE DRIVES THANKYOU


ive got one in there but if i convert it to scsi the computer And the sampler will read it for
easy file transfers


SOMEONE MAY FIND THE LINK USEFULL OK.....

but you can also transfer files from RAM. just load the disk and send away

if you have a scsi hard drive in your yammy the pc aint gonna be able to read it I dont think because you have to format it to the yamaha, no?>

and knock off the yelling you guys
