OK - I've reloaded one of them (Alright) after using Musicmatch Jukebox to rip and convert to mp3 - however, although I could select 24kbps and mono from the options I couldn't find an option for 22500hz anywhere. does this matter?

if someone could have a listen and check whether it works that'd be great - it works on download but I'm not sure about streaming...
