Folx, got a couple of cuts for you to have a listen to in lo-fi, if you would like!!! These are going on our "Cheeky!" project (music compilation we're doing with a couple of other producers/djs) - its just pure unashamed footstompin' stuff  

"Look Around You (Vocal Mix)" - is a vocal mix of a clubby ibiza-style track passed to us for remix by A.S.V (yeah, its a bit commercial but what they hey, eh?!)

"Deus" - A bit of a harder trancy type affair - us just having fun with 4-on-floor (its not meant to be too mind taxin' just fun!!)

was thinking about asking to remix 'look all around you' since i like pretty stuff. prolly don't have the attention span for it. it seemed a bit messy at first.. not sure why. i can have another listen and try and clear up my opinion if you'd like me to

On havin' a listen to that one, straight off the bat the balances of the mix (vocals to instruments) is lost in lo-fi - which prolly adds to the "messiness" (c'est la vie)..  

It *does* hang together much more strongly at "hi-fi".. (honest guv!)  

All comments are appreciated tho', so yes please xoxos (and anyone else) fire away...

just listened to deus, not really my bag, i know it's meant to be a bit of fun but couldn't you think of another vocal sample? like 'arse' or something ;)

on a second listen the beginning is all minimal and clean. i was completely wrong.. not messy at all. must have been making the transition whatever i was listening before or something.. i'm doing this new thing of sleeping after work and waking up late evenings so i can get my free time in before work shags me out. it's quite possible i'm fucking up my brain or something.
