i have created a lot of loops with azid and other pc-drumcomputers. these loops are stored on my pc-hard disk in wav-format.
now i want to load the wav files into the a3000.
this process is no problem if i load the files with a 1.4
MB disk into the sampler.
but, you guys can easily imagine that this takes to much time, because the a3000 floppy-drive is so ing slow!!
better would be a self burned wav cd-rom!!
but when i burn some samples on a cd-r and want to feet my sampler with it,
then the a3000 cannot read wav-format anymore.

and now guess what my question is about:

how can i burn an a3000 compatible wav-cdrom??????????????

can i do this with the the tool "a3kdisky"?? if yes, then please tell me how???

PLEASE HELP ME, IAM SO FRUSTRATED!
best wishes
mark

yes thanks for that info, but in fact, i donīt have an scsi controller installed on my pc.
so are there no possibilities to do it in the way i described? yamaha a3000 is one of the sampler which can read wav-format. but why canīt read this machine wav-format from cd????

bzone is a great tool to edit the a3000 from the monitor, i love this tool so much!!!!!!!!!!

cant you get a scsi cdrom attached to the yamaha to read from ?? - the a3000 has scis onboard yes?... so do that mebbe?.. cos surely the yammy will treat it as a fixed drive?

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

yeah but it wont read .wav from CD I dont think. My Emu will only read .wav from floppy or as a scsi transfer. Not sure how that works or why its set up that way but its a bummer
