can i mad scientist you into checking out sensoniq's stuff? mp3.com/sensoniq click 'play all tracks' while you're applying underoil on your u-boots. his thing is melodic phrases and he usually does one phrase with 3 or 4 different voices. dunno what else you do but i could see a bit of synergy there.
