Your music blends too well... It sounds like one instrument... feels like the song goes on for ages and the melody is just way out there...
You need some breaks or changes; less of the plucky plucked string sounds and less of the metallic sounds. You also need bags of treats in your song also... Good artists will leave little treats in certain areas of their chewns. It could be a good transistion or a phat buildup. As long as there is something that stands out for the listener. In rock music, they call these hooks. They are needed, it's like a catch phrase... most are quick...
Also, I would try to write a song in one or two days... Then come back in a week, when your ready. Then recover or formulate a tune off the main basis. This is good for when minutes and seconds are your goal. Nothing like hearing a tune accomplish so much within 3 minutes.
