is anybody out there using a pair of Alesis monitor one mkII? Im planning to buy a pair myself so any opinions on these speakers will be greatly appreciated.

well, I never tried them, but the MK1's were highly rated by Paul White, and that's good enuf for me.... Wether they carried that over to the MKII's tho, i cant say - sorry....

I had an idea for a script once. It's basically Jaws except when the guys in the boat are going after Jaws, they look around and there's an even bigger Jaws. The guys have to team up with Jaws to get Bigger Jaws.... I call it... Big Jaws!!!

I got them and they kick ass...nice sound at low to medium levels... at full levels they get less accurate * i think, I'm no expert * but that could also be because of pour studio design.... anyway for the price they sell they're a bargain if you ask me.

that could be the amp or the room you're in.

those where exectly my ideas...I don't thinks it's the amp since it's a real nice one (within my budgyt)...but it could be the objects in my room that sorta resonate with certain frequencies...i remember in my old room the window always started trembling at certain frequencies.... very annoying


so kef, did you make up your mind already?
