I've just got hold of an Alesis studio amp (forget the model)and would like to connect it up via the 'jack' speaker outputs rather than the ordinary speaker wire connectors (which are just stupid little clip connectors on the back of the amp - no use to man nor beast!). Is there an adapter or similar device that will let me connect ordninary (biwire-able) speakers to a 'jack' lead?
I am looking to upgrade to some proper studio monitors soon and need to bear this requirement in mind as well.

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Well, my Event 20/20s use binding posts, there's no harm in that! Why not go to your local Raido Shack, get a pair of jacks and a soldering iron, and do it up?
