im doing some research on what studio monitors to get and would really appreciate your opinions on the subject.
what should i check when buying second hand monitors (if buying second hand monitors is a smart thing to in the first place...). should i go for active monitors or passive+amplifier? does anyone of you use the alesis monitor one mk II? what do you think of it? i've checked it out and it seems quite nice. is there any monitor that i definitely should/shouldn't buy? i have got about $500 (5000 swedish crowns. i think that's roughly 300-350 pounds) to spend.
