I just picked up an old Boss SE-50. Does anyone have one of these or know anything about them? Has anyone made any sort of editor for them? The thing sounds bloody awesome, especially for how old it is.

SE-50's are great. I've got an SE-70. Both have got proper analogue distortions. Liam Howlett had 4 SE-50's when he made Jilted Generation.

They are pretty hard to come by. You are lucky to find one.

As to a manual.....I don't think there is an electronic version available unfortunately.

oh, i got a manual with it. i was was just referring to Roland's reputably bad manual translations.  

I had a feeling they are rare. i can find next to no info on them.

Don't really need an editor. pretty simple now that i know it.
