using wavelab to create new breaks
I purchased wavelab 3.0 a couple months ago, and it has a cool feature for creating new breaks....
you can make an audio "montage" by copying in a bunch of breaks into different tracks in the montage editor, and muting/fading various sections of the breaks. it's not exactly a multi-tracker -- it will automatically mix the audio together to one output channel as you add audio clips.....
it lets you do anything you want with fades and pans and it also lets you put any amount of effects on EACH clip in the montage.. the possibilites are endless (and not just for breaks), and it makes creating some original variations of breaks very easy and very fast....
then when you're done with your tweaking, you mix down to one .wav file, and import your new break into your sequencer....
no, I don't work for Steinbug. just a tip for the folks in search of some new kung-fu...
