damnit i want adjustable shuffle rhythms!!! are there
any hardware sequencers that have adjustable shuffle rhythms a-la roland tr-909? !!!

Try finding a Roland R8, not necessarily the markII, and use its sequencer to shuffle the rhythms, may be your cheapest bet.... It is a very capable machine, prized for its sequencers abilities and hidden (to the masses) features.

check the MAM SQ16...they call shuffle.."rotate"...yeah it do...what's your location boi? private reply...Freon

I've got the roland mc 505 and it does shuffle oh so nicely

R8 if a good option in so far as its "feel" settings. I have a R8M and it is a fantastic piece of gear. The feel settings allow you to adjust almost imperceptibly the swing of the pattern, but it's really not the same as adding shuffle. I just quantise heavily to get that garage-style swing.
