I recently bought a yamaha S-80 synth. being a keyboardist I thought it would be the last thing I'd ever want. Full size keyboard loads of great sounds AND a good few knobs to twist and control other gear. But so far it's been a bugger to operate. For example, can't get the arpeggiator to work at all. It worked when I got it, but now it won't.
Another thing is edithing patches in perform mode; No go. You have to edit them in voice mode first(?!). I've been using a Roland xp50 till now which I find so much more easier to work with.
Anybody out there?
