Hi! I want to use my new Tascam TMD1000 at church to send the guitar and voice I have preprogrammed on selected channels out via the AUX sends to the main Mackie Mixer at church via the XLR's built into the wall snake that leads back to the control room. O.K. Now, how do I assign these two channels let's say and what cables do I use to go from 1/4 to the XLR's in the wall? i know this comes up a lot but nobody seems to know how to do this as it is a typical config in a church or live setting where snakes have been run so cables aren't lying all over to trip over. Anyway, I know somebody out there can help me. REply to baord when you can or e-mail me if it gets a bit complicated. Thanks again for listening!

unless you're doing something special...run the voice
& guitar right into the wall, and get rid of the
mini-mixer. let the soundman do his thing, and don't
try to get in his way....that's what he's there for.
the more things he can't control, the less control
he has over making it sound good....

coming from a church soundman

now, if there is a good reason for the mixer to
be there (not enough inputs to the snake
to the control room, special effects, doing a play
or something where local control is desired), then
maybe....but seriously, if you are just trying to have
control over your voice/guitar you're really getting in the
soundman's way.....
