I made an MP3 again yesterday from Cakewalk 9 'cause it has an MP3 encoder built in. I recorded the midi tracks into a stereo audio track. I had the instrument panned and it sounds fine in the audio track...just the way I panned everything in midi. The panning didn't show up in the MP3. Everything is pretty center in the MP3. I noticed especially because there is 1 instrument that jumps one not e to the opposite side of the stereo field, but this doesn't happen in the MP3. Is there some reason that MP3 encoders don't encode for stereo placement? Or is it just the Cake encoder? Or is it just me and I am missing something? Should I be trying to solve this or is this just an MP3 thing that one has to live with? Thanks.

No one has to live with ANYTHING THEY DON"T LIKE!!! There's ALWAYS A WAY!!hehehe... Did you check all of your encodingg settings like the bitrate and frequency and all that for the MP3 encoder?
