I'm looking in to getting my first mixer. What do you recomend for something thats well priced, yet is say 16:4 channel. The guy at the shop was trying to sell me a Behringer 2004... but I've read that they aren't to good. What about the Spirit Folio FX16?

Also I'm looking into to speakers... what do you recomend... how about the Spirit Absolute Zero?

thanks Cal

I have a spirit folio sx and I am well happy with it.
I also have the absolute 2's they have a really nice bottom end if your into producing dance music I would recommend them. I can get a good mix using them.

get the spirit stuff, and get the absolute 2's instead of the zero's.. you need to hear as mutch of the low end as you can. 2's should be about 200-220ukp NEW!.
