just got a mixer digital whats the best
way to hook it up to my sound card i have a sound blaster live plat.card and
am useing cubase.

Like k says, you'll have to tell us what mixer.

The SB Live! has got an SP/DIF out which means that you'll have to use the SB Live! as the master sync.

You should find options on your mixer to set sync to external somewhere.

when i set master clock in my mixer to
world sync. in it comes up error fs clock .theres a option that says internal that seems to work. i hooked the cable from the spdif in on the card
to out on the mixer seems to work.

Hi! I just bought the same mixer and have a SB live full. What have been the best settings and setups you have encountered over the pst three weeks of usage. I have a strong feeling that if configured properly , it will shine, but if set up incorrectly it will flounder. Am I correct? Any way, I know you are busy but any input would be appreciated!
