I wonder if there are any company that offers a dj mixer that uses the harddisk of a pc instead of a double cd player. The mixer should just be a "joystick" for a 2 channel mixing program running on the pc, the mixer should have usual double CD player/dj mixer functions, i.e. cue,play,pitch, cross fade etc.

There is one already....I saw it on the web recently but can't remember where. I'll post a link here when I remember and find it.

Check these if you're interested...
don't know how well they work compared to standard mixing gear. The free one isn't good for much more than fiddling with - chopping between two songs.

it appears to be in beta tests at the moment by a certain group of users. i'm a vinyl dj and computer junkie so i'm quite interested but it probably costs a load of dough.
