I need to know what speed or model mac to have at least 16 audio trks + Midi + FXs. What size HD, soundcard, Midi card. multi I/O (analog to Digital), CD burner and so on.........Please HELP!!!

Your asking alot!!!! I think you probably want a 333Mhz G3 Processer, (don't go below 266Mhz) 128 megs of RAM. A SCSI hard drive, well two is really nice, a completely seperate one for audio helps performance quite a bit. The size depends how much you want to store on your drive, about 10Mb per 44.1, 16-Bit, stereo minute of audio. The best card for VST is the Layla by Echo, 2 digital I\O's, 8 analog ins and 10 outs and MIDI. I have the Gina and it is great!! www.event1.com And Yamaha and Mitsumi make some great SCSI CD-R drives. Now if your willing to cut your tracks in half you could save alot of money. Because you're looking at about 6 or 7 grand for a system like this. If you have any more question feel free to contact me. I am glad to help!
