Can someone give me a full list of hardware...including Motherboard, soundcard (multi in) and CD writer, that will run with no glitches on a PC!! I plan to run Cubase VST with a least 12 audio tracks + fx

Well, here it is:

Intel Pentium 233/II or better
ASUS Mainboard P-Series
64 MB RAM or higher
ADAPTEC-SCSI 2940 UW
min. 2 x 2 GB IBM DCAS-Series Harddiscs
Toshiba or Plextor SCSI CD-ROM
Yamaha CDR400 or TEAC SCSI CD-writer
ARC 44 or 88 (Hohner Midia) or Event Gina or
D2044 (midiman)

Please see Steinberg Homepage. Theres a listing of all
recommended and tested digital I/O cards for recording.
