Hi, my name is Paul, I'm from Argentina, and I recently bought a Casio FZ1 in exchange for my Roland Mc-303.
The filters on this sampler ar great, but I can't understand the manual.
I'm not able to create different areas with different MIDI channels so I can play a breakbeat in channel 1 and a bass sample on channel 2.
Can anybody help me?
I'm desperate.
My e-mail adress is
pablocarr@hotmail.com
thank you!!!!

On modify mode enter "effect/midi" then "midi function" and last, change "basic receive" to
"area receive" and you're done.

I´m Paul again.
You must think I´m dumb, but after doing what you told me, how do I assign different MIDI channels to different voices in a bank?

Sorry for the trouble, but I´m f**** stuck!!!!!

Thank you once more.

Very simple Paul, vhen you edit an area just scroll down the menu and you'll find, oh joy, in between
"area level" and "output" what your're looking for.....

It might b good 2 know that you must use the scroll keys
(the blue ones that is!)
Don't forget 2 try pressing "display" whenever u get the chance (the FZ1 has an incredible visual editing user interface !). Example : when u're editing the envelope on the filter (or amp) you can get it visualized with a graph, instead of digits...
