Is it possible to 'whack together' a Volume pedal/ controller pedal for an ASR-10?

The manual says a little about it - it seems to me to be bassicaly a variable potentiometer thingy.

I figure just buy one at an electronics store -bit of wiring - instant new controller! Any ideas? Experience? Sites?



While I'm here... is there any free way to transfer AIFF files to ASR-10. I have a demo of PEAK - good. Also looking at EPSM - any good?

vol' controller pedals are standard & piss cheap at keyboard shops.

I really want to make one, so I can have a 'knob' instead of a pedal.
